Ingredients for Smoked Sausage Alfredo Pasta:
- 2 12 oz packs of Kielbasa
- 10 oz pasta (Cellentani or any other type)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 2 TBSP minced garlic
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/4 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
- Dried parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the kielbasa: Slice the kielbasa into rounds and brown them in a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Alfredo sauce: Melt butter in the skillet, add minced garlic, then pour in the heavy cream. Stir well.
- Season the sauce: Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir in Parmesan cheese until thickened.
- Combine and serve: Mix the cooked pasta with the Alfredo sauce, add the kielbasa, and stir. Serve with extra Parmesan and dried parsley on top. Enjoy!
