This Sheet Pan Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon is a quick and easy meal that’s perfect for a busy weeknight dinner. The combination of tangy lemon, savory garlic, and rich butter complements the tender salmon fillet beautifully. With minimal prep and cook time, you can have a flavorful and healthy dish on the table in no time.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Salmon:

  • 1.5 to 1.75 pounds skin-on salmon fillet

Lemon Butter Mixture:

  • 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice (from about 1 lemon)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely pressed or minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the salmon on a sheet of foil, skin-side down.
  2. Prepare salmon: Nestle lemon slices underneath the salmon.
  3. Make butter mixture: Melt butter, then stir in lemon juice, honey, and garlic. Pour most of the mixture over the salmon.
  4. Season: Season salmon with salt and pepper.
  5. Seal: Seal the foil around the salmon and bake for 17 minutes.
  6. Broil: Open the foil, spoon reserved butter mixture on top, and broil for 5-10 minutes until golden.
  7. Garnish and serve: Optionally garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Adjust broiling time based on personal preference and oven variance.
  • Salmon can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
