Description

These pull-apart lobster sliders are a decadent treat, perfect for a special gathering or a luxurious night in. Tender lobster meat nestled in buttery, herb-infused rolls make for a delightful indulgence that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Dinner Rolls:

  • 1 package of pull-apart dinner rolls such as King’s Hawaiian or homemade Sourdough Dinner Rolls or Sourdough Discard Dinner Rolls

Herb Butter:

  • 4 ounces salted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 garlic clove, finely grated

Lobster:

  • 1 pound of cooked lobster meat

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Prepare rolls: Place rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet without separating them. Cut circles in the tops of all rolls and hollow out the bread inside without piercing the bottoms.
  3. Make herb butter: Combine melted butter, chives, Old Bay, and garlic in a bowl. Brush rolls inside and out with the butter, reserving some for the lobster.
  4. Bake: Bake for 10 minutes until golden.
  5. Prepare lobster: Toss cooked lobster with the remaining herb butter. Fill rolls with lobster meat.
  6. Garnish and serve: Garnish with chives and enjoy!

Notes

  • For the lobster, you can use pre-steamed lobster or cook your own. Frozen lobster meat is also an option.
  • The leftover butter can be strained, frozen, and reused.
  • Mayonnaise-based lobster salad can be used as an alternative filling.
