This refreshing Lychee Iced Tea is a delightful blend of green tea infused with the exotic flavors of lychee, lemon, and lime. Perfect for a hot summer day or a special gathering, this tea is light, fruity, and incredibly easy to make.

Green Tea Base:
- 8 cups water
- 1 cup honey
- 10 green tea bags or 10 tablespoons loose leaf green tea
Lychee Puree:
- 15 ounces lychees in syrup (about 20 lychees)
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 lime
- Ice and/or frozen lychees
- Fresh mint (optional garnish)
- Lemon slices (optional garnish)
- Lime slices (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare Green Tea Base: In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water and honey to a boil. Remove from heat and steep green tea bags for 3 minutes. Remove tea bags and skim off foam.
- Cool Green Tea: Add remaining water and let tea cool for 10 minutes.
- Make Lychee Puree: Blend lychees, lychee syrup, lemon juice, and lime juice until smooth.
- Combine Ingredients: Mix lychee puree with green tea in a pitcher. Chill for at least 2 hours.
- Serve: Stir tea and serve with ice, lychees, lemon/lime slices, and mint.
Notes
- Do not squeeze tea bags to avoid bitterness.
- Prepare ahead but add garnishes and ice just before serving.
- Flavor develops if left overnight.
- Store in airtight container; discard if overly sweet/sour smell or taste develops.
