Salmon:

  • 1 pound (450g) salmon fillet

Honey Garlic Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup (125ml) honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or crushed
  • 1/2 cup whole-grain Dijon mustard
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Coarse salt and black pepper, to taste

Garnish:

  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Position a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Prepare Glaze: In a bowl, mix honey, garlic, mustard, lemon juice, olive oil, paprika, red pepper flakes, Cayenne pepper, and salt.
  3. Coat Salmon: Place the salmon on the baking sheet, pour the glaze over it, and spread evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake: Fold the foil over the salmon to create a packet. Bake for about 20 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
