Salmon:
- 1 pound (450g) salmon fillet
Honey Garlic Glaze:
- 1/2 cup (125ml) honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced or crushed
- 1/2 cup whole-grain Dijon mustard
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Coarse salt and black pepper, to taste
Garnish:
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Position a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Prepare Glaze: In a bowl, mix honey, garlic, mustard, lemon juice, olive oil, paprika, red pepper flakes, Cayenne pepper, and salt.
- Coat Salmon: Place the salmon on the baking sheet, pour the glaze over it, and spread evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake: Fold the foil over the salmon to create a packet. Bake for about 20 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
- Serve: Garnish with cilantro and lemon slices before serving.
