Description

Chicken Bites:

  • 1.5 pound chicken breasts, chopped into bite-size pieces
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 56 cloves garlic, crushed or minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce or sriracha

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Pat down chicken with a paper towel. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cornstarch, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  2. Cook Chicken: Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  3. Make Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, olive oil, honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and hot sauce.
  4. Finish Dish: Pour the sauce over the chicken and cook for another 4-5 minutes or until the sauce thickens. The longer you cook, the thicker the sauce will become.
  5. Serve: Serve over rice, pasta, or with veggies.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
