Description

Enjoy juicy, flavorful ground chicken burgers that are quick to make on the stovetop or grill, perfect for a healthy and satisfying meal. These burgers are seasoned with simple spices and topped with your favorite condiments for a customizable lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Patties:

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For Cooking and Serving:

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil (olive or vegetable)
  • Hamburger buns and toppings of choice (lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, chopped onions, parsley, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix everything until well combined without overmixing.
  2. Form patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a ¾ inch thick patty. Press the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent puffing during cooking.
  3. Preheat pan: Heat a large non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add the oil to coat the bottom.
  4. Cook burgers: Place the patties in the hot pan and cook for 5-6 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Reduce heat slightly if needed to prevent burning.
  5. Serve: Remove from pan, assemble on buns with desired toppings, and enjoy!
