Description

These Homemade Breadsticks are soft, fluffy, and utterly delicious. With hints of garlic and Italian seasoning, they’re perfect for dipping in marinara sauce or enjoying on their own.


Ingredients

Dough:

  • 67 cups all-purpose flour, divided
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant or quick yeast
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter

Garnish:

  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, sugar, yeast, salt, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  2. Add water and butter and stir until combined.
  3. Stir in two more cups of flour with a spoon.
  4. Gradually add remaining flour to form a soft dough.
  5. Cover and let dough rise for at least 20 minutes.
  6. Divide dough into sections and shape into breadsticks.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake until golden.
  8. Brush with garlic butter mixture and serve.
