Description
Dracula’s Dentures are a fun and spooky Halloween treat featuring chocolate chip cookies transformed into vampire teeth using red frosting, mini marshmallows, and almond slivers for fangs. Perfect for parties or themed snacks, this easy no-bake assembly recipe delights kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
Cookies
- Chocolate chip cookies, homemade or store-bought (see recipe link above)
Decorations
- Red frosting, enough to spread on cookie halves
- Mini marshmallows, for teeth
- Almond slivers, for vampire fangs
Instructions
- Bake Cookies: Make the chocolate chip cookies on a baking sheet following your favorite recipe or the provided link. Let the cookies cool completely before assembling.
- Cut Cookies: Once cooled, carefully cut each cookie in half horizontally to create the top and bottom halves of the “dentures.”
- Apply Frosting: Spread a thin layer of red frosting on the flat side of both the top and bottom cookie halves to act as the gum line.
- Add Teeth: Arrange mini marshmallows along the edge of the bottom cookie half to mimic vampire teeth.
- Assemble Dentures: Gently place the top cookie half over the marshmallows, pressing lightly to secure but not squish the marshmallows.
- Insert Fangs: Carefully insert almond slivers between some of the marshmallow “teeth” to create sharp vampire fangs.
- Serve: Serve the Dracula’s Dentures immediately as a spooky, delicious Halloween snack. Enjoy!
Notes
- Use fresh cookies that have fully cooled to prevent melting the frosting.
- You can substitute cream cheese frosting tinted with red food coloring for a tangier flavor.
- To make more dentures, simply multiply the ingredients and cookies accordingly.
- Store assembled dentures briefly at room temperature; marshmallows soften if refrigerated too long.
